Compassionate Individual and Couples Counseling in California

Virtual and In-Person Services

Welcome. I’m Neena Gleason, a therapist in California offering individual and couples counseling in the San Francisco Bay Area and online across California. My work is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and evidence-based care that honors your lived experience. Whether you’re navigating relationship challenges, healing from trauma, or seeking more balance and connection in your life, therapy can help you slow down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and begin to move forward with clarity and calm.

Grounded Support for Real-Life Challenges

Each session is a space to pause, reflect, and understand what’s truly happening beneath the surface. My approach integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, and attachment-based therapy to meet you where you are — without judgment or pressure. Whether you’re healing from past experiences or looking to strengthen your relationships, therapy offers the space to grow into a calmer, more connected version of yourself.

My Approach

Calm, Connected, and Compassionate

My approach blends the Internal Family Systems model with attachment-based and mindfulness practices. This combination supports healing at the root level, integrating emotional insight with body awareness. The goal isn’t to “fix” you, but to help you reconnect with your inner resources and move toward a life that feels grounded, balanced, and whole.

Relational

Healing happens through relationship — with yourself, with others, and within the space we create together.

Somatic

The body remembers what the mind forgets. Together we learn how to listen to its cues and find steadier ground.

Mindful

Attention and awareness are at the heart of growth. Mindfulness helps us stay present with what’s real, not what’s overwhelming.

Inclusive

Every identity, story, and lived experience is welcome here. Therapy should feel like a homecoming, not a performance.
